In the second part of this two-part interview, Anne-Laure Carruth shares a moving story of how she overcame a breakdown around the time she was retaking her architecture exams at college (whilst everybody else was celebrating an exhibition in Hyde Park).

Having taken the leap and quit her job, Anne-Laure has found the confidence to call herself, and become an artist, thanks to a community called Project Awesome.

In this episode, you’ll learn how life, as an artist, can be a seasonal affair and what to look for when you’re in need of self-care.

Anne-Laure reveals how she prevents her creativity from killing itself and why it’s so important to talk about mental health.

You can hear part one here.

“The reason I quit my job…I can’t do stuff that I don’t care about any more” – Anne-Laure Carruth
